Her father and older brother are death eaters, but her father never gave her the option of choosing a side. She supports blood-purist views, however. Personality (include several weaknesses and strengths): Danica is an intelligent young woman, though such intelligence has never truly been valued. In the eyes of others, she's simply a graceful, well-behaved, well-spoken, demure and polite young woman. Her ambitions and her inner strength, as well as any tendency toward fighting the status quo of her life and changing things, are all quite well hidden. She knows how to play her part in society well because she's been groomed for it. Inwardly, she has a rebellious spirit that she's never shown at all. He treats his wife in the same domineering fashion because of a paranoid streak. He believes that women are doubtless out to cheat and bring ruin to their husbands. He is an importer/exporter, an international businessman, and is also active in politics. Mother: Jasna Mihajlova Luković-Vaisey -- 49 years old-- Jasna was the only daughter in a pureblood family in former Yugoslavia, now Montenegro. She was given to Hugh as his wife at the age of seventeen, straight out of school. She barely spoke English at the time. She had her first son, Cassius, two years later. Brothers: Cassius: Age 30, in the same business as his father. Plans to take over the business upon Hugh's death. Edward: Age 27, the family insurance policy. He's the backup heir in case something happens to Cassius. He briefly played professional quidditch as a beater for the Montrose Magpies, Now, with the help of daddy's money and influence, he owns and manages the team. Appearance (paragraph minimum.): Nothing about Danica's build would set her apart from any of the other well-dressed pureblood young ladies in the world. She's slender and stands no taller than 5'6 in heels, which she's always wearing. Her hair is a dark brown that seems to glint with a bit of red in certain lights. Her face is a mixture of classic beauty with a hint of the exotic. She has her mother's full lips, high cheekbones and shapely nose, but inherited her father's lovely piercing blue eyes. She's always dressed exceptionally, as befits a young woman of her blood and social status, in elegant and costly robes, and she never leaves home--never leaves her room, for that matter--without being perfectly made up and well dressed. She's also a passable pianist. Biography (three paragraphs minimum): The Vaisey family already had two sons, and therefore another child was certainly not planned for. When Danica was born, a girl, her father was unimpressed. He told his wife to name her and left the room immediately. This would set the tone for much of Danica's childhood. While her brothers, especially the oldest, Cassius, were allowed free reign, Danica and her mother were always under strict watch. After all, as a young girl Danica was future currency to be married off for dowry. It was imperative that her reputation be untarnished and that her accomplishments befit a young lady of her stature. So she was put through ballet classes from the age of four, continuing over all of her Hogwarts breaks as she got older. Piano lessons, voice lessons, all of these were worthwhile pastimes. Before she was sent off to school, she'd had a tutor by five days a week for six hours of schooling. She'd also had etiquette lessons, ballroom dancing lessons, among every other type of finishing school program one can imagine. Her father never spoke to her unless he suspected she had done something wrong. He existed only as a means of punishment. Otherwise, the man was an enigma, a phantom that she knew wandered through the manor as well, but was never heard from. At Hogwarts, she was given simple instructions from her father. Do not associate with male students more than necessary, or she would be disowned for disgracing her family. He was insistent that she remain pure for her future husband. It was a powerful bargaining chip. She was terrified of him, therefore she obeyed. She was popular enough among the girls and enough of the boys looked but she had an air of the untouchable about her. After graduation, she returned home, where she has been since. The war has not had much of an affect on her, personally. She's simply awaiting her marriage to some man she's likely never met, and biding her time until then. | |||||||||
